About the seminars
During this morning seminar the main focus was on the CPA and its effect on sales and leases of immovable property. In addition a short update on eviction law, attachments and setting aside of transfers as it may be impacted by the CPA was included. Comprehensive notes (a choice of Afrikaans or English) as well as precedents (draft sale and lease agreements, motions & affidavits) were provided.
Newlands Sun, Cape Town
The Cape Town seminar held at the Newlands Sun was attended by more than 100 delegates. During the seminar important information was shared by delegates of which the groundbreaking decision of the Consitutional Court relating to the right of landlords to cancel leases, handed down two days prior to the seminar, was not the least.
